Ronald Leong
For our new landing page, Commonpeople is proud to present the photography of Ronald Leong. The images featured are part of a series titled Fibonacci/ Rorschach, which explores the cognitive dissonance between fascination and preconceived notions of beauty. The emotional connection to ‘the face’ as we understand it changes, stimulating an emotional, perhaps even primordial reaction that he associates with the patterns on a moth’s wings and Rorschach ink blots.
Ronald enjoys photography on a cerebral level and takes pleasure in crafting images that are engaging to the eye and stimulating to the mind. He is featured in Foam International Photography Magazine’s 2009 ‘Talent’ issue and represents Singapore as one of the finalists in the 2009 Art Kudos International exhibition.
